Job Title: Technical Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Administrator to join our Geoscience Team at ACS Testing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our site investigation, drilling, and coring operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of our drilling and coring teams, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Liaise with sub-contractors and specialist service providers to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Arrange traffic management and permitting to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Manage project bookings and invoicing through our laboratory management system.
  • Monitor the status of ongoing jobs and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Conduct site walkovers to assess access and ensure safe drilling and coring operations.
  • Arrange maintenance and servicing of drilling and coring rigs and associated equipment.
  • Manage stock levels of geoscience consumables and arrange sample storage and disposal.
Requirements:
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and Word.
  • High level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role.
Desirable Attributes:
  • Familiarity with construction industry safety standards and procedures.
  • Familiarity with drilling and highways coring works, or traffic management.
  • Knowledge of a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
