About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Recycling Technician to join our team in Drummondville, Quebec. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient dismantling and recycling of vehicles.

Job Responsibilities
  • Dismantle and depollute vehicles using hand tools and power tools, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety protocols.
  • Prepare vehicles for resale or display in the yard, including cleaning, testing, and sorting batteries for resale.
  • Dismount wheels, rims, and tires, and sort and organize salvaged parts for inventory.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards and safety guidelines.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a general labor or similar role, preferably in the automotive recycling industry.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
