We are seeking a highly skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team in Woodstock, Canada.

Salary: $25.50 - $32.00 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and bonuses.

Job Description

As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for performing various fabrication tasks to create metal structures and components using welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reading and Interpreting Technical Drawings: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Fabrication and Welding: Perform welding operations to fabricate and repair metal structures and components.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Maintenance: Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to ensure project completion and meet deadlines.

Requirements:

• Education: Completion of a welding program or apprenticeship.
• Certification: Certification in welding techniques such as AWS or CWB.
• Experience: Previous experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction setting.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, quality control, and ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
