About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental services to patients, including examinations, treatments, and preventive care. You will also be required to maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, and adhere to strict infection control protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth and gums to diagnose and treat various oral health issues.
- Utilize X-rays and computer-generated imaging to aid in diagnoses and treatment planning.
- Provide a range of dental treatments, including routine cleanings, extractions, fillings, and restorative procedures.
- Administer local anesthesia as needed and educate patients on proper aftercare.
- Evaluate patients for signs of oral cancer and prescribe medications as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Hold a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Hold a valid state license to practice dentistry and CPR certification.
- Have proven experience working in a dental practice and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain confidentiality when handling patient information.
