Radiologic Technologist

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography to join our team. As a key member of the Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic duties in accordance with your scope of training and experience.
Under the general supervision of the Charge Medical Technologist or designate, you will provide direct patient/resident care and technical support functions required as part of the multi-disciplinary team approach of service delivery. You will maintain a safe environment in accordance with professional and provincial guidelines and ensure compliance with quality assurance programs and standards put forth by Accreditation.
Responsibilities- Perform assigned diagnostic duties in accordance with your scope of training and experience.
- Provide direct patient/resident care and technical support functions required as part of the multi-disciplinary team approach of service delivery.
- Maintain a safe environment in accordance with professional and provincial guidelines.
- Evaluate imaging procedures and adjust techniques to achieve optimal results.
- Analyze images and identify abnormalities.
- Diploma or degree in Medical Radiography from an approved program.
- Certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CANDR).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A competitive salary range of $62,000 - $83,000 per year, depending on experience.
