Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver for Individuals with Disabilities to join our team at Elfreda Theroux. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and care to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live independently and with dignity.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Feed or assist in feeding, providing nutritious meals and snacks.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support, helping our clients feel connected and valued.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Cook meals as needed, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.

Work Environment:

  • Work in the employer's home, providing one-on-one support and care to our clients.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, responding to the needs of our clients in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
