Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and respectful nursing care to an assigned group of residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Administer medications, complete RAI-MDS assessments, and conduct nursing assessments to identify any changes in a resident's condition.
  • Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall care experience.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a recognized Practical Nursing program.
  • Registration and good standing with BCCNM.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
