Cabinet Assembler and Wood Furniture Maker Foreman/Woman

Unique Millwork Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Cabinet Assembler and Wood Furniture Maker Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and scheduling the activities of workers, setting up machines and equipment, and operating computerized or manual woodworking machines.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers to ensure efficient production.
- Set up and operate woodworking machines, including saws, gluing machines, and sawing machines.
- Read and interpret specifications and follow verbal instructions to ensure accurate production.
- Operate gluing machines to glue wood pieces together and press wood veneer onto wood surfaces.
- Make minor adjustments and repairs to machines and equipment.
- Install hardware on furniture and fixtures.
- Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products.
- Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment.
- Assist trucks and delivery drivers to load and unload vehicles.
- Assemble wooden or metal furniture and fixture parts to form subassemblies and complete articles.
- Read blueprints, written specifications, and production drawings to ensure accurate production.
- 5 years or more of experience in a similar role.
- Valid driver's license.
- Forklift Operator Certification.
- Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
