At T-shirt Time, we are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure that they meet our high standards.
  • Teach interest or professional development courses to our staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and order merchandise to ensure that our store is well-stocked and up-to-date.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help us make informed business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, in a fair and timely manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that our store is well-stocked and that our customers have access to the products they need.
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in retail management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent position
