Salary

The estimated salary for this position is between $46,410 and $65,076 per year.

Job Description

This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring sales results are met while maintaining expense management, reducing shrink and damages, and providing exceptional customer service.

You will be responsible for managing assigned areas, including merchandising, presentation, backroom, frontline, cash office, customer service, markdowns, scheduling, shipping, and receiving. Additionally, you will direct accountability for recruitment, training, and Associate development, performance, and acts as a role model on delivering positive Associate and customer experience in-store.

You will also provide input on succession plans to meet future needs, ensuring each Associate has a development plan that supports their growth and career aspirations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support store sales results, expense management, reduce shrink and damages by managing assigned area.
  • Direct accountability for recruitment, training, and Associate development, performance.
  • Provides input on succession plans to meet future needs.
  • Communicate and execute action plans to Associates on upcoming projects, targets, priorities, company initiatives, events, promotions, or any other store initiatives.
  • Implement changes to Store floor plans as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Post-secondary education is preferred; minimum high school education required.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years supervisory experience in Retail including but not limited to operations, customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety, and loss prevention.
  • Demonstrated management skills with the ability to positively influence management and staff to act in the best interest of the Company.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills including interviewing, negotiating, listening, conflict management, information gathering, and coaching.
