Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Materials Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Field Supervision department, you will be responsible for accurately determining material requirements, assigning materials to work packages, managing surplus, and ensuring materials are correctly located and available for scheduled construction activities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate procurement and inventory management processes to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Utilize material management software to track purchase orders, verify inventory status, and associate materials with field installation packages and the project schedule
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage surplus materials
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure materials are delivered on time and meet project requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials management, inventory control, or procurement, preferably in industrial projects
  • Technical skills: proficiency in material management software (Site Sense, Jovix, SAP, etc.) and strong computer skills
  • Analytical skills: ability to analyze data and make informed decisions regarding material requirements and inventory management
  • Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders
