Interior Design Principal

The Walter Fedy Partnership is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interior Design Principal to lead our interior design team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative design concepts, managing project execution, and ensuring the highest standards of excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and motivate a diverse team of designers, project managers, and other professionals across multiple geographies.
  • Provide consultation and mentorship to junior designers and other team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Make strong decisions to navigate complex projects and organizational challenges.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of interior design principles, trends, and best practices.
  • Generate innovative design solutions and push the boundaries of conventional design.
  • Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitive landscape to inform design strategy.
  • Oversee multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Negotiate contracts, fees, and project scope with clients and vendors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and exceeding their expectations.
Requirements:
  • Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or related field.
  • Registration with AAA as a licensed Interior Designer.
  • Passionate about design and project management.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and efficiency in generating project workflows.
  • Fluent in English with strong oral and written communication skills.
