Job Summary
The University of Ottawa is seeking a Part-Time Professor to teach a course in portfolio management as part of the ADM3352A program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance and be able to deliver high-quality instruction to students.
Responsibilities
- Teach a course in portfolio management to students in the ADM3352A program
- Develop and deliver course materials, including lectures, assignments, and exams
- Assess student performance and provide feedback
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the program
Requirements
- Master's or MBA degree in finance or a related field
- PhD in finance or a related field (an asset)
- Professional designation in finance (an asset)
- Extensive knowledge of portfolio management and related issues
- Recent professional experience in the area of portfolio management
Working Conditions
The successful candidate will be expected to work on a part-time basis, teaching the course in the Fall 2024 semester. The course will be delivered in a regular classroom setting, with a mix of lectures and discussions.
Language of Instruction
The language of instruction for this course is English.
