Project Manager IT

Gildan, a leading apparel manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead company-wide IT projects. As a key member of the Project Management Office, you will be responsible for defining project plans, budgets, and timelines, as well as driving project execution, financial tracking, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Drive project teams through the project phases to meet milestones.
  • Manage risks, opportunities, changes, and conflict resolution within projects.
  • Create project budgets and forecasts.
  • Work closely with IT Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to the projects, such as booking meetings, creating agendas, meeting minutes, preparing presentations, and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or other pertinent fields.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
  • Strong English written and spoken communication skills for collaboration with project sponsors, stakeholders, colleagues, and third parties.
  • French spoken communication.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing environments and timelines.
  • Knowledge of Sharepoint and Smartsheet.
  • E1/JDE experience would be an asset.
  • PMI certification is considered an asset.
  • Collaborative leadership, exceptional influence, and interpersonal skills.
