Position Overview
The Department of Mechanical, Industrial and Aerospace Engineering at Concordia University invites applications for two 12-month Limited Term Appointment contracts at the rank of Lecturer in the area of Mechanical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching fundamental undergraduate courses in mechanical engineering, including mechanical and machine drawing, theory of machines, design, and similar topics.
- Providing service to the department and university, with no research obligations.
Qualifications and Assets
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
- Membership in a Canadian professional engineering association, preferably in Quebec.
- Industrial experience will be a definite asset.
- A strong commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
