Haru BBQ Korean Restaurant is seeking an experienced Food Service Supervisor to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a key member of our management team, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring that all aspects of food preparation and service meet the highest standards.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high-quality food and beverage standards. You will work closely with our head chef and other department managers to develop menus, manage labor costs, and maintain customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Labor Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, preparing and submitting reports as needed.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth and development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • A strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • The ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in fast-paced environments
