We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Learning Tree Academy. As an integral part of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean and safe environment, and assist with meal preparation and setup.
  • Provide exceptional care to infants and toddlers, including bathing, diapering, and feeding.
  • Develop and implement engaging child-care programs that promote learning and growth.
  • Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs and keeping records.
  • Engage children in activities, such as storytelling, singing, and crafting.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations and participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to work 32-35 hours per week.
