Job Description

The Senior Project Procurement Specialist plays a critical role in supporting key aspects of the Procurement lifecycle, with a specific focus on the modernization of facilities required for the future production of the River Class Destroyer program.

You will work closely and collaboratively with the Infrastructure Project Team to develop and implement infrastructure engineering and construction sourcing strategies for complex project scopes.

  • Responsibilities

    • Project Procurement / Contracting activities including: Analysis of market/supply conditions (e.g. availability, pricing, lead-times and capacity)
    • Identifying commercial / contractual approaches to achieve project objectives
    • Development and execution of contracting plan
  • Pre-contract Award Activities

    • Development and recommendation of contracting strategies
    • Supplier sourcing and qualification activities
    • Proposal evaluations / supplier selection
