About the Role

Gastronomy Gastown is seeking a reliable and team-oriented Dishwasher Assistant to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Washing and Sanitizing: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Storage and Organization: Place dishes in storage areas and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Heavy Lifting and Handling: Handle heavy loads and lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) as required.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
