Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our team at T & A Tire. As an Automotive Service Technician Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting in the diagnosis and repair of vehicles, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the diagnosis and repair of vehicles, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Work with customers to understand their vehicle needs and provide solutions
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex repairs
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer training and industry developments
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: Level two apprenticeship training or equivalent experience
  • Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract)
  • Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail
  • Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
  • Personal suitability: Accurate, dependability, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, judgement, reliability, team player, punctuality
