Welder Job Description

At CO-UP AUTO BODY REPAIR, we are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, reading and interpreting welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines.
  • Fabricate or repair metal parts and products using previously set-up welding machines.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and organizational skills.
Work Environment

As a Welder at CO-UP AUTO BODY REPAIR, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced professionals. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
