Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to support the enhancement and implementation of IT applications to meet functional business processes in support of MAF Global Mobility mission and MAF users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and implement IT solutions for compliance and interoperability with the objectives of USTRANSCOM and Air Force data strategies.
- Monitor, schedule, coordinate, and manage the enhancement of services to ensure IT solutions are within schedule, cost, quality, and objectives for USTRANSCOM, AF, and MAF IT logistics processes.
- Coordinate with Air Force led agencies to enhance and implement a common system to capture, access, and display a common operating picture for critical logistics information from the source transactional systems.
- Facilitate requirements enhancement, operation, and sustainment of prototype applications, models, and databases to identify optimal solutions for integration concepts and problems integral to the integration process.
- Modify schedules and implementation plans, including those for parallel operations.
- Identify technical approaches and prepare a description of anticipated prototype results as required by the COR.
- Assist with migration of legacy systems to a single consolidated approved Air Force system FMxC2 (G081) (managed by HAF cluster Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) or an existing standard infrastructure, DOD Enterprise Computing Center (DECC), or MilCloud/Amazon Web Services).
- Provide technical review and business process re-engineering support to AMC and AF modernization management strategies.
- Ensure MAF mission requirements are maintained. Coordinate and manage integration of all approved G081 system and infrastructure requirements to support logistic system planning and implementation.
- Identify Global Reach and G081/MAF LOG C2 system changes to support both military and commercial logistics requirements, including OEM support.
- Identify and manage enhancements to G081 for use of air to ground communication processes in support of mission generation capabilities.
- Identify and provide process improvement areas as they pertain to logistics, G081 programmatic, and proposed course of action within HQ AMC/A4, to improve the efficiencies in support of Logistics Enterprise Architecture (LOGEA) and Air Force Enterprise Logistics Strategy (ELS).
- Prepare briefings, point papers, position papers, and other required documents.
Requirements:
- BA/BS, or HS diploma/AA with 5-7 years' experience
- 5 - 7 Years of experience
- Certification: none
- Computer skills: working with various computer technology is a necessity to include equipment maintenance, MS Office, and using custom software.
- Troubleshooting: troubleshoot all equipment issues in a timely manner.
- Physical Fitness: Extended periods of sitting at a workstation is expected.
- Customer Service: Must possess excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Interfacing with customers and guests on-site to make sure their requirements are met, and that equipment is functioning is a major responsibility.
- Organization Skills: Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned projects.
- Working knowledge of FMxC2 (G081) obtained through advanced education and work experience.
- Experience with AMC's C2 systems associated with FMxC2, e.g. GDSS, Global Reach, ETIMS, IETM, EMOC, and LEAP.
- Certified to access DISA network.
- Must possess Active DOD Secret Clearance
- Travel: up to 50%
