About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Treasure Mills Inc. as part of our rapidly growing and ambitious company.

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our plant. You will be responsible for providing guidance and support to our production, R&D, quality assurance, and operations teams for product and process development.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide technical expertise and support to ensure the effective troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventative maintenance of our equipment.
  • Proactively detect potential problems and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with our production team to ensure clear standard operating procedures (SOPs) and instructions are provided for all equipment.
  • Ensure safe plant operations by adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations.

**Requirements:**

  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) 433A license is required.
  • Valid 442A Ontario Industrial Electrician trade license is an asset.
  • 5 years of industrial food equipment experience is required, preferably in a repetitive/fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of robots, conveyors, high-speed packaging equipment, and electrical/electronic controls is essential.
  • 5 years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures is required.
  • Experience troubleshooting with PLCs is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Auto Cad or similar software program to maintain and edit existing engineering drawings is required.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office are necessary.
  • Strong leadership skills and a passion for quality and food safety are essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and high organization are necessary.
  • Ability to work well under pressure is essential.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Forklift license and experience are considered an asset.
