Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
  • Staff Management: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide guidance and support to ensure they are meeting our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers receive excellent service.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on food sales, inventory, and other key metrics, and prepare budget and cost estimates for food preparation and service.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, and establish work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Setting: Various locations, including restaurants and cafes.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods, with a physically demanding work environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
