Job Summary: As a Radiopharmaceutical Specialist in Nuclear Medicine, you will be responsible for preparing radiopharmaceuticals and performing technical procedures utilizing radiation and/or radioactive materials for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. Your expertise will be essential in helping our medical team diagnose and treat patients with various medical conditions.
Responsibilities: As a Radiopharmaceutical Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing radiopharmaceuticals for use in medical procedures
- Performing technical procedures utilizing radiation and/or radioactive materials
- Collaborating with medical professionals to diagnose and treat patients
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations in the handling of radioactive materials
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A Nuclear Medicine Technology diploma (NMT)
- Membership in the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and the Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (SAMRT)
- Intermediate computer skills
- Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Education and Training: A Nuclear Medicine Technology diploma (NMT) is required for this role. Additionally, you will need to be registered with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists and the College Medical Radiation & Imaging Professionals Saskatchewan.
