We are seeking a part-time English and Math teacher/tutor to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. in Niagara Falls, ON.

About the Role

This is a part-time position that requires working during after-school and evening hours, as well as Saturdays. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students succeed in English and Math.

Responsibilities
  • Teach English and Math to students of various skill levels
  • Follow the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Fill in post-lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates
  • Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Grade 9 to Grade 12 curriculum
