About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Investment Funds Advisor to join our team at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services - CFMWS. As a key member of our financial services team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional client service and support to our members and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients in implementing investment strategies to achieve their financial goals
  • Assist in the client discovery process through pre-meeting information gathering and delivery to advisors
  • Greet clients and potential clients, ascertain the nature of their business, and direct them to the appropriate person or determine their needs
  • Organize marketing activities on behalf of advisory professionals
  • Support business growth of assigned branches through telemarketing and outbound calls, prepare client/prospect call lists, and track progress
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or College diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field
  • Current Mutual Funds License (MFDA/AMF) with either Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC) Course or Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
  • Investment Funds Course (IFC)
  • Certified Financial Planner, an asset
  • Experience in providing advice to clients, investment services, working in a branch environment, and providing assistance to financial professionals
  • Competencies in client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership
