Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Janitorial Supervisor to join our team at Alberta Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning services, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of janitorial staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations
  • Inspect sites and facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services
  • Recommend and arrange for additional services as needed, such as painting, repair work, or equipment replacement
  • Maintain accurate financial records and receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments and establish work schedules
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, including janitors, caretakers, and building superintendents
Requirements
  • 1-7 months of experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school graduation certificate and willingness to relocate
