Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Worker PT to join our team at St. Joseph's Care Group. As a key member of our Nutrition & Food Services department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food preparation and service to our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve food in a large quantity food preparation environment, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to Occupational Health and Safety and HACCP guidelines
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient inventory management and cost control
- Provide excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbally and in writing

Requirements:

- Preference will be given to applicants with a Food Service Worker Certificate
- Must possess and maintain a current Safe Food Handling Certificate
- Minimum 2 years experience in large quantity food preparation, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting
- Must be knowledgeable about Canada's Food Guide, therapeutic diets, and Occupational Health and Safety
