About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at The Westin Resort & Spa Whistler. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Housekeeping Activities
    • Lead a team of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of guest rooms and public areas.
    • Develop and implement housekeeping procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Inspect and Maintain Cleanliness Standards
    • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness.
    • Identify and address any areas of concern or non-compliance with our housekeeping procedures.
  • Assist with Training and Development
    • Provide training and guidance to housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of housekeeping staff.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments
    • Work closely with other departments, including front office and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
    • Identify and address any areas of concern or non-compliance with our hotel operations procedures.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role.
    • Degree in a related field, such as hospitality or hotel management.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
    • Ability to train and develop housekeeping staff.
