Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Lead to join our team at Wipro Technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automation strategies to improve testing efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.
  • Lead a team of automation engineers to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and scripts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement automation solutions.
  • Design and implement test automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and other relevant tools.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to automate functional and regression testing.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members on automation-related issues.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase automation efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain documentation on automation frameworks, scripts, and processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop automation solutions to meet those requirements.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in automation testing, with a strong background in Selenium and Java.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Core Java, Selenium UI Automation, BDD Cucumber Framework, and API REST Assured.
  • 2-3 years of experience in REST ASSURED/Middleware testing using native/third-party Java libraries.
  • Good knowledge of SQL queries and experience working with JSON messages.
  • Experience in working with server platforms (Windows Server/Linux) and cloud platforms.
  • 4 years of experience in Functional and Regression Testing, with a strong background in automation.
  • Strong payments domain knowledge and experience in designing test strategies.
  • Good estimation skills and coordination skills to interact with the testing team, TCOE team, and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in Agile platform and version control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
