Job Title: Automotive Service Technician

Kicking Horse Ford is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with commercial transport truck systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
Requirements:
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
