As a physiotherapist at Fraser Health, you will work collaboratively with an interprofessional care team to provide patient-centered care. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, and prognosis, as well as developing treatment plans that meet individual patient needs.">
  • Implementing interventions using evidence-based practices and educating patients and caregivers on self-management, health promotion, and injury/disability prevention.">
  • Participating in the development and implementation of interprofessional care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.">
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of interventions and making adjustments as needed to achieve optimal functional independence and physical performance.">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current full registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC.">
  • Knowledge of physiotherapy theory and practice within a patient and family-centered model of care.">
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals, both verbally and in writing.">
  • Basic knowledge of research processes and methodologies.">
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.">
