About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team at Teckhorizon Inc. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in protecting our information systems and resources from internal and external threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to mitigate and prevent them.
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect our systems and data, including threat detection and response systems.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure our security measures are effective and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security architecture requirements for systems and IT projects.
  • Develop and maintain information security policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and corporate directives.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding and expertise in security architecture and risk management.
  • Experience with threat risk assessment methodologies, such as Harmonized Threat Risk Assessment (HTRA).
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective security measures to prevent and mitigate security threats.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and corporate directives related to information security and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with developing enterprise architecture deliverables, such as models.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • Experience with implementing security on complex and distributed systems.
