Scharringa Greenhouses Ltd. is seeking a skilled Grower Specialist to join our team

Job Description

This full-time position involves supporting the lead grower and fellow team members in the cultivation, nurturing, and upkeep of our horticultural products.

The ideal candidate will have experience with various species of annuals cultivated during spring and fall, as well as a valid Pesticide License.

  • Familiarity with diverse plant species, cultivation methods, irrigation practices, and fertilizing techniques.
  • Identifying and reporting indicators of pests or diseases, and implementing biological control measures and applying pesticides as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documenting tasks and updates for the Head Grower.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $18.50 to $25.00 per hour, and work hours that include 40-60 hours weekly.
