Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Training
    • Ensure that children receive a high-quality education, including literacy and numeracy skills.
    • Provide opportunities for children to learn and develop new skills.
  • Childcare and Development
    • Assume full responsibility for the care and well-being of children in your charge.
    • Develop and implement engaging activities to promote children's physical, emotional, and social development.
    • Establish a safe and healthy environment that promotes children's overall well-being.
  • Household Management
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
    • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to meet the dietary needs of children.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with parents and other caregivers to ensure seamless care and support.
    • Collaborate with other team members to ensure that children receive comprehensive care and support.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English or French.
  • Work Schedule
    • 40 hours per week.
