We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team at CareCorp Seniors Services in Duncan, BC.

About the Role:

This is a casual position offering $41.42 per hour. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of our residents in a long-term care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with best practices.
  • Monitor and document residents' health status and changes in condition.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support.
  • Educate residents and their families about health conditions, care plans, and available resources.
  • Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications:

  • Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCN&M).
  • Valid CPR/ First Aide certification.
  • Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics is an asset.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.
