Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Carpenter to work on various residential renovation projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials, as well as supervising other workers and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts and designs for construction projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Survey building locations and levels to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid certifications and licenses as required by law.
