About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at CANADA LTD. as a Design and Development Specialist. This role will involve overseeing the building and testing of prototypes, assisting in design and development, and preparing estimates, schedules, and specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the building and testing of prototypes to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Assist in designing and developing new electrical systems and equipment.
  • Prepare detailed estimates, schedules, and specifications for projects.
  • Write clear and concise specifications for electrical components and systems.
  • Assist in inspecting, testing, and adjusting electronic components to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in building and testing prototypes to ensure they meet requirements.
  • Collect and compile operational or experimental data to inform design decisions.
  • Conduct applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics.
  • Install, commission, and operate electrical and electronic equipment and systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in design and development of electrical systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with CAD software and other design tools.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position working 35 hours per week. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Regular travel may be required for project meetings and site visits.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a comprehensive retirement plan.
