Job Title: Panel Estimator

As a key member of the Manufacturing Operations team at ANDRITZ Hydro Canada, the Panel Estimator plays a crucial role in the production of electrical panels and other equipment in the field of hydroelectric automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Rigorously review customer specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Interpret electrical and mechanical panel drawings to identify material and labor requirements.
  • Evaluate costs and compile inputs to produce a comprehensive and accurate quotation.
  • Optimize the estimating process to offer competitive bids and ensure project continuity.
  • Collaborate with teams and provide support during project execution.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical or electrical engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on professionalism and integrity.
