About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team at Northern Cultural Expressions Society.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers and financial statements.
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as fixed assets and depreciation.
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare tax returns.
  • Utilize MS Excel, Quick Books, and MS Office to manage financial data.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
