Commodities Business Analyst Job Summary

Role Overview

Commodities Business Analyst will work with Regulatory and Compliance teams to gather requirements and coordinate regulatory BAU issues for commodities trading systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Commodities Front Office Sales and Trading on documenting requirements and gap analysis for commodities products.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
  • Develop and enhance regulatory initiatives for the commodities trading system.
  • Coordinate test plans and UAT activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Capital Markets, with 3+ years of hands-on experience in commodity markets in the US/Canada.
  • Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements for commodities, including DFA, Canadian, and MiFID II.
  • Strong working experience with Commodities Trading systems.
  • Technical skills in SQL and Microsoft Office products.
