We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at The Tire Terminal. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Assign sales workers to duties, ensuring that the store is adequately staffed at all times.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for training to be provided.
- Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that the store is always stocked with the latest products.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing valuable insights to management.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that all products are stored and displayed in a safe and efficient manner.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of office and volunteer staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to distinguish between colours.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
