Job Summary

Mega Signs Inc. is seeking a skilled Commercial Sign Installer to join our team. As a Commercial Sign Installer, you will be responsible for installing exterior and interior prefabricated products, ensuring professionalism in customer service, and adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install exterior and interior prefabricated products, including signs, displays, and other visual elements.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate installation.
  • Repair and service exterior and interior prefabricated products, including signs, displays, and other visual elements.
  • Determine layout and installation procedures, taking into account customer preferences and site-specific requirements.
  • Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, including tools, equipment, and safety gear.
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Utilize hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and other equipment, to complete installations.
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms, ensuring safety and stability.
  • Install electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components, adhering to safety protocols.
Work Environment

The Commercial Sign Installer will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent travel to various locations. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, able to lift heavy objects, and work at heights.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in sign installation, fabrication, or a related field.
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and other equipment.
  • Ability to work at heights and lift heavy objects.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment.
