Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our team at the Sault Area Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement education programs for patients and their families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Competency in Ontario.
  • ACLS certification.
  • Will be willing to enroll in a critical care nursing certificate program.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated clinical competency in the management and care of patients in an acute care environment.
  • Ability to maintain successful working relationships and interact with people in a pleasant, professional, responsible, and reassuring manner.

Because of the changing nature of the work and work to be done, other responsibilities and duties may be assigned and qualifications may be adjusted from time to time.
