Job Summary

Gogo Excavating & Contracting Ltd is seeking an experienced Excavation Labourer to join our team. As an Excavation Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the excavation process, including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials. You will also be required to clean and lubricate cranes, erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Clean and lubricate cranes
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assemble tower cranes on site
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Pave and rake asphalt
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work
Work Environment

As an Excavation Labourer, you will be working outdoors in a fast-paced environment, often at heights, underground, and in noisy and dusty conditions. You will be required to work in urban and rural areas, as well as on construction sites.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
