As a Ruminant Nutrition and Business Consultant, you will work closely with dairy and beef producers, providing top-tier nutritional sales and consulting services. Your goal is to help farmers achieve both their financial and operational objectives through innovative feeding strategies, advanced ration formulations, and hands-on support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales growth and client support: Develop and grow a strong client base, provide expert nutritional consulting, and offer innovative feeding strategies
  • Customer relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, regularly visit farms, and offer tailored recommendations
  • Product and service development: Contribute insights for new product formulations, stay informed on emerging trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Marketing and community engagement: Represent the company at industry events, support marketing initiatives, and engage with the local agricultural community

Candidate Profile:

  • A true passion for agriculture and the dairy/beef industry
  • Diploma or Degree in Animal Science, Agriculture or Business
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and ability to quickly understand nutritional and sales knowledge
  • A valid Canadian Driver's License is required
  • Able to travel within your territory 5 days a week
