Job Title: Building Mechanical Engineer — Hybrid

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the greater Montreal area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing building mechanical systems, including ventilation, air conditioning, heating, and cooling systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop building mechanical systems, including ventilation, air conditioning, heating, and cooling systems.
  • Determine construction costs and quantities in accordance with standard methods and established drawings and specifications.
  • Perform surveys and studies, and prepare technical reports.
  • Participate in the resolution of technical problems.
  • Prepare work progress reports and contribute to the development of the action plan.
  • Act as a resource person for the technical team.
  • Prepare and monitor fee budgets and make recommendations.
  • Participate in the partial supervision of construction work.
  • Attend meetings with clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical building engineering.
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • Fluency in French, both spoken and written.
  • Fluency in English (an asset).
  • Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle (an asset).
  • ASP Construction card.
  • LEED accreditation or knowledge of sustainable development and energy efficiency principles (an asset).
  • Working knowledge of Revit software (an asset).
