About the Position

Brand Momentum is seeking an experienced Sales and Merchandising Specialist to work on a part-time basis in a Mass Grocery store in Kingston. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and passionate about driving success at the retail level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine call schedules by reviewing priorities with supervisors and discussing special instructions, product promotions, new products, and price changes.
  • Maintain customer relationships by visiting with store managers, department managers, and employees, answering their questions, and responding to special requests.
  • Maintain store shelves by observing displays of company products, removing damaged or freshness-dated products, tidying store shelves, and providing optimum display of products.
  • Maintain inventory by restocking shelves with product from inventory, observing inventory levels, prompting store management to reorder when levels appear low, and arranging for return and credit for damaged products.
  • Complete call reports by observing the display and pricing of competitors' products.
  • Help field sales representatives with special promotions by setting up displays at aisle ends, checking daily on special promotions, observing customer reaction to special promotions, forwarding observations to management, and removing promotions at the end of the special promotion period.
  • Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
  • Enhance merchandising and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements:

  • Access to a vehicle is mandatory.
  • Previous merchandising experience (6 months to 1 year).
  • Great communication and selling skills.
