Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Trades Helper to join our team at First Call Construction. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting our tradespeople with various tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials with precision and care.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Collaborate with medical examiners to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Clean and organize salvaged materials, maintaining a tidy and efficient workspace.
  • Remove rubble and debris from construction sites, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the well-being of our workers and the public.
Work Environment

As a Trades Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks. You must be able to handle heavy loads and work in a repetitive task setting. Our work conditions are physically demanding, and you must be able to adapt to changing situations.

Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) with ease.
  • Flexibility to work in a team environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Will to learn and train in new skills and procedures.
